I've been studying Kris Costa (ILM creature artist) workshop and his unique approach to digital portrait and decided to publish some progress. Everything is fully hand sculpted and hand painted in Zbrush, hair is generated in xen. Final images rendered in Arnold (Maya).
Will post updates regularly to keep me motivated to finish it. Hair needs lots of adjustments, displacement feels weak in lots of areas. I also need to experiment more with light setups as well.
